ABOUT THE PARTINERSHIP IN TRAING COMPUTER
Background of Computer Training
We have made custom-designed curriculums for computer programs which are very beneficial for student both working and school going students. These curriculums are in compliance with the "laws" of computer training covering all areas of applications such as Microsoft, Graphics and accounting. This gives the trainees that edge in ICT world with that on demand computer knowledge. A Certificate in computer applications course comprising of Introduction to DOS & Windows, Ms Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and E-mail Communication. We fully understand how important this factor is as far as producing students who are not only coming out with a paper but with the knowledge and skills that will help them cross borders in computer and basic applications knowledge.

Objectives:
  • To establish a modern and well managed training centre
  • To train the youths in ICT fields that will improve the ICT systems use in Uganda and outside Uganda.
  • To improve the lives of the community by equipping them with ICT skills that will enable them improve their earnings.
  • To put in place a demonstration computer training management unit that will help the community to learn how to effectively increase their awareness for economic stability.
  • To empower the community especially the young generation through providing training in ICT that will enable them competing in the job market.

We will be carrying out a biweekly sessions covering one graphic program for two hours a day, starting from 5pm to 9pm we intend to do this continuously. This will bring out the best in our students and also help promote both companies to the public and hence making it easier to get more students covering other computer applications such as introduction and office applications. This will mainly be done by the period advertisement like making poster and other modes of advertisement for these biweekly training sessions. In additions to that, these training programs will benefit the companies financially since the trainings will be done for a big number of students and in a short time.
MODES OF THE MARKETING AND TRAINING
Marketing:
This will not be purely word of mouth, we intend to use the community (worship places, local areas and), poster and fliers, if the partnering companies agree, we shall also be able to use other modes of advertisement such as newspaper and other modes which shall be consider viable.

Follow ups:
This will include making phone calls, sending e-mails and text messages to probable student who shall have registered with us during the time of the advertisement. If we don’t rise enough number of students for a given training sessions, we shall push the training a little bit ahead to wait for the numbers to go up to the minimum required.

Mode of training:
We intend to have face to face class based training with the students. Each class should have a minimum of 10 students and a maximum of 20 students depending on the turn-up of the students.

Target group:
This program mainly targets working class people and school going students who are mainly university students taking business courses. And those entrepreneurs who are interested in making their computer skills more effective and reliable by opting to use computer programs.

Time Frame:
This program is continuous and will be done every evening 5pm to 9pm, depending on the time available, if need be we shall also be training students over the weekend and that may not necessarily be in the evening. We intend to train one graphic program every two weeks.
Training materials and Training:
This will be provided by CAL Institute since we have been more involved into training and installations of computer application programs. Having been into the business of computer training, Sales and computer software sales and data entry, it won’t be hard to provide the materials needed to train the students.

Other Services:
Since CAL Institute. has been involved in a lot of ICT projects, we intend to cover other IT projects alongside the partner, as long as it’s in the interest of both companies. This will involve but not limited to; Computer sales, consultations, IT Support services, Web and graphics designing and any other service as the partnering companies shall decide.
